Sex on the Beach-Cocktail
Hello Everyone. We hope that you are keeping well and safe and staying at home during this month of February, that will probably extend into the next few months. At least for now, we can get out for unlimited exercise outside which is good news but we are in our “3rd lockdown” which is not so good news. Now that we are nearing Spring, we can look forward to so much more.
We thought we would show you how to make another summer cocktail, called the Sex on the Beach-Cocktail. The origin/history of the Sex on the Beach-cocktail is it was invented by a bar tender called Ted, who worked in Confetti’s bar, Florida, USA. Mainly because of all the students enjoying “Spring Break”
How to make the above cocktail, you will need the following ingredients/equipment.
25ml Peach Snaps
Maraschino Cherry (for the garnish)
Colada Glass (or something similar from your cupboard)
2 x straws (optional)
This is a fairly straight forward cocktail to make but also very easy to drink too.
To make this cocktail, you will need to follow these simple steps. Pour a combination of 25ml Peach Snaps, 25ml Vodka, Cranberry and Orange Juice into a cocktail shaker along with a few ice cubes about a third of the way up, inside the cocktail shaker. Shake the cocktail 10/15 times over your shoulder, until properly mixed. Place a few ice cubes in the glass, then pour the drink into the glass by straining it first. For the garnish, place a maraschino cherry onto the top of the drink. Serve with a couple of straws, if you would like too.
Kick yourself back, relax and enjoy!
