Hello Everyone, we hope that you are keeping well and safe and staying at home during this month of June, that will probably extend into the next few months. At least now, we can get out for unlimited exercise and meet up to six people outside which is good news, social distancing of course!

We thought we would show you how to make another summer cocktail, called the Porn Star Martini Cocktail. The origin/history of the Porn Star Martini cocktail is that it was created in 2002 by bartender and LAB (London Academy of Bartending) bar founder Douglas Ankrah at The Townhouse bar in Knightsbridge, London. I quote “I called it the Porn Star Martini because I thought it was something that a porn star would drink, sexy, fun and evocative” Douglas Ankrah said.

 

How to make the above cocktail, you will need the following ingredients/equipment.

This is a fairly straight forward cocktail to make but also very easy to drink too.

To make this cocktail, you will need to follow these simple steps.

Porn Star Martini Cocktail plus a shot of Fizz!


Ingredients

  • 25ml Vanilla Vodka
  • 25ml Passoa
  • 25ml Cane Sugar Syrup
  • 10ml Passion Fruit Puree
  • Bottle of Prosecco or Champagne
  • Slice of Passion Fruit (for the garnish)

Equipment

  • Martini Glass (or something similar from your cupboard)
  • Shot Glass (or something similar from your cupboard)
  • Cocktail Pourers
  • Knife/Chopping Board
  • Blender

Method

  • Pour 25ml Vanilla Vodka, 25ml Passoa, 25ml Cane Sugar Syrup and 10ml of Passion Fruit Puree into a blender machine.
  • Blend for a few seconds until properly mixed, then pour the drink into the Martini glass. To finish the drink, pour a glass of fizz into the shot glass.
  • For the garnish, cut a slice of passion fruit and place on top of the drink in the middle of the glass. The correct way to “drink the drink” is to take a sip of the cocktail, then a sip of the shot and so on, or pour the fizz straight into the drink. Whichever suits you best!
