This is a short cocktail, and very enjoyable on a cold winter’s night. It is very easy to make. Another variant to the above ia a cocktail called the Godmother. This is based on vodka, instead of the whisky, and when made with Brandy the drink is known as a Godchild.

  • Scotch Whisky (this can be a whisky from the 'bottom' end of the range, not a malt whisky)
  • Amaretto
  • Ice Cubes

  • Whisky glass (or similar from your cupboard)
  • Bar Spoon

  • Pore a double measure of the Scotch whisky, into the whisky glass over a few ice cubes.
  • Pour also a single measure of the Amaretto, and mix throughly using a bar spoon.
  • Relax and enjoy!
