How much does it all cost?
The cost depends on a number of factors, such as, numbers of guests coming to the event? number of hours for the bar being required? (Note, we normally quote on 5 hours working, but have worked a lot longer than this at weddings for example). Distance to the event, providing the correct level of staff who are cocktail barmen etc. Our rates are reasonable and we welcome you to contact us for a quotation based on your specific requirements.
Do you supply staff with the mobile bar?
Yes, we pride ourselves, in providing a ‘bespoke’ service, so that you can enjoy the event and your guests too! So, we always provide the mobile bar and staff. Our staff are highly professional, friendly, experienced cocktail barmen, trained in the art of mixing drinks, who have been with us, for several years. We can just supply staff if required, although, we may need to bring some equipment with us.
Do we need a licence?
A licence is usually only required for a pay bar, (and as part of the service), we apply for the licence for you, so that you have a worry free event! A licence can only be applied for, away from a residential property, i.e. a mobile bar in a marquee.
Can the portable bar be set up anywhere?
Yes, we can normally set up the bars up anywhere, as long as we have the required room to do so. (If possible), we always arrange with the client, to make a site visit beforehand, and then we know how much ‘working’ room we have to play with. The bar is fully mobile and designed to be positioned anywhere.
What cocktails do you serve?
When we come to visit you beforehand, part of the ‘fun’ element, is choosing a list of 10 x preferred cocktails, from our own cocktail list. Then we type up the menus, ready for your event. You may even wish to have a themed event. These include fruity, sour, sweet, long and short drinks, classic and contemporary cocktails as well as non-alcoholic cocktails or ‘mocktails’. We can also create signature cocktails for clients wanting to enhance the ‘wow’ factor at events.
What geographical area do you cover?
The company is based in Cheshire and covers the entire North-West, including Cheshire, Wirral, Manchester, Liverpool, Yorkshire, Lancashire, Shropshire, Staffordshire, (some other parts of the Midlands) and many places in North Wales.
Do you have any insurance cover?
Yes, we have Public Liability cover, A first aider is present at every event we complete.
What products do you serve/which do you recommend?
We can provide a full bar service, with a complete range of drinks, (not just cocktails), bottled beers, various wines, spirits, liqueurs etc. If there is a certain beer or product you particularly like? we will endeavour to supply it!
How long does it take to set up the bar or bars?
Obviously this depends on the size of the bar and the amount of additional equipment required. It normally takes a couple of hours to set up the bar properly. As we like to ‘level’ the bar, to make sure everything is ‘right’ before we start.
Can you supply glasses/disposable glasses?
Yes, we bring all the glassware with us, as part of the service. We pride ourselves of pouring the ‘right’ cocktail in the ‘right’ cocktail glass etc. We bring a good selection of glasses with us. (If required) we can supply disposable glasses, for a non-alcoholic teenager’s party for example.
How do we keep the drinks cool?
We are able to supply a range of cooling equipment, fridges, freezers, with our bars, to ensure that products are kept at optimum temperatures, at all times. We also guarantee to use ice throughout the event, offering cocktails and other drinks at an enjoyable, consistent standard.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Due to the ‘high’ demand at peak times of the year, i.e. the summer months, we normally as for a deposit to be paid in advance, to secure the booking. We accept cheques or cash as methods of payment.
